California Chassis Improves Customer Service with New State-of-the-Art Sheet Metal Fabricating Technology

Anaheim, California – December 19, 2008 – California Chassis, a global manufacturer of racks, enclosures, and cabinets for the telecommunications, transportation, and aerospace industries, has upgraded their manufacturing facilities with state-of-the-art sheet metal fabricating equipment made by Amada America, Inc. (Buena Park, CA). Amada is the market leader in precision sheet metal fabrication equipment and technology. Using this latest equipment, California Chassis now incorporates a more efficient and improved manufacturing process, providing its customers with better service and product enhancements.

California Chassis is a fully integrated manufacturer providing engineering, custom sheet metal fabrication, wire harnesses, and electromechanical assembly products and services. California Chassis selected the Amada EMK3610NT Servo-Electric turret punch press for its high-productivity approach to performing typical punch press functions—contouring, deburring, slotting, marking, and forming. Using this advanced sheet metal fabricating system will increase California Chassis’ productivity and reduce the need for secondary finishing operations.

California Chassis will also utilize the HDS 1303NT Press Brake system from Amada. This advanced sheet metal bending system uses computer-aided design technology and hydraulic sub-cylinders to prevent uneven bending, and increase accuracy across the entire bed.
